Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports to yet another update on Kalidou Koulibaly’s potential move to the Etihad.
City are looking to complete the signing of Koulibaly this summer as they belatedly try to replace Vincent Kompany.
The Citizens have been negotiating with Napoli for several weeks over their asking price, with Aurelio de Laurentiis looking to make at least €90m after turning down €100m last summer.
City have already personal terms with the player and are now just looking to agree on a deal with Napoli. It is understood City had offered as much as £63m, leaving the two clubs far apart in terms of the final fee.
According to The Athletic, Manchester City are still willing to sign Kalidou Koulibaly, even as the Lionel Messi pursuit continues.
Aurelio De Laurentiis who is playing hardball has told City that he wants €90M for Koulibaly but City are confident they’ll find an agreement eventually.
The report claims City are prepared to get towards €80M once bonuses are included.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by Man City xtra and City Chief, City fans as always have been expressing their thoughts and opinions.

City totally in control here, he’s not that good. I only hope we are in for some other CB and Napoli get left with him. Better still, he goes to retire at Utd..— Anglesey Blue 🐝 🏴 🏴 (@anglesey_blue) August 27, 2020
I could eat my words, but that’s too much. €70M with add ons maybe, but not higher. I’d rather we played Laporte and Ake as a pair at that price or go for a defender a few yrs younger.— RyanD2588 (@D2588Ryan) August 27, 2020
We honestly should just never deal with Napoli. Bunch of clowns— Logan (@loho_) August 27, 2020
