Manchester City have reached out to representatives of Lille defender Gabriel Magalhaes over a possible deal as Pep Guardiola looks to sign another centre-back this summer.
The 22-year-old has had a solid Ligue 1 season, helping Lille to a fourth place and Europa League qualification, and he has generated a lot of interest.
Arsenal and Lille are reportedly to have agreed terms on a five-year deal that could be worth up to £25 million.
But According to Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol on Twitter relayed by Daily Mail, PSG and Manchester City have make late move for Gabriel Magalhaes despite the £22m defender agreeing to join Arsenal.
Napoli are reportedly to have also sent a last-minute offer to try and sabotage Arsenal’s plans, after also agreeing on fees.
According to Sky Sport reporter, Gianluca Di Mario, The Serie A side have asked for more time from Lille as they wait to understand the circumstances around the possible transfer of Kalidou Koulibaly to Manchester City.
The 22-year-old representatives have patiently waited to evaluate the offers from each club.
