Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports the Cityzens are nudging closer to the capture of Kalidou Koulibaly after it was reported transfer talks are due to be held with Napoli.
Guardiola is desperate to find a reliable centre-back partner for Aymeric Laporte and has identified the 29-year-old as a priority signing despite completing the transfers of AFC Bournemouth defender Nathan Aké this week.
Koulibaly has built a reputation as one of the world’s top defenders during his time in Serie A. Inevitably, he has attracted plenty of interest from around Europe.

According to Footmercato via Sport Witness, Txiki Begiristain has informed Koulibaly’s agent Fali Ramadani that City are ‘willing to offer a substantial salary’ to secure his client’s signature.
