Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that the club and Valencia winger Ferran Torres. have agreed personal terms on a five-year deal at the Etihad Stadium.
Ferran, whose current contract ends in June 2021 is apparently top of Pep Guardiola’s wish list in terms of potential reinforcements in wide attacking positions.
In recent weeks, the Citizen have made significant strides in their attempts to secure the signature of the 20-year-old Spanish winger, with several fees reportedly being discussed and some rejected.
According to Goal, the 20-year-old, who is in the final 12 months of his contract at Mestalla, has agreed personal terms on a five-year deal at the Etihad Stadium.
City and Valencia have not yet reached an agreement on a fee which is expected to cost between £27-36M, with the potential for add-ons.
Once an agreement is reached between the two clubs, the deal could be made official in the coming weeks, and Torres could be City’s first signing of the summer.
